Mohamed Salah, the legendary Egyptian midfielder, is reportedly close to signing with Turkish side Fenerbahce as he considers his future in Europe. This move comes as the 33-year-old prepares to leave Liverpool after a successful nine-year tenure.
Renowned journalist Ekrem Konur shared on his X social media page that Salah’s representatives have already engaged in initial talks with Fenerbahce officials, with early negotiations described as highly constructive.
Salah has expressed his ambition to continue playing at a high level for several more seasons. This aligns with Fenerbahce’s consistent participation in European tournaments, potentially making the club an attractive option for the midfielder.
During his time at Liverpool, Salah made 441 appearances, scored 257 goals, and provided 122 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated at 30 million euros.
