In his selection, the Wrexham goalkeeper named former captain Vincent Enyeama as his first-choice goalkeeper, highlighting Enyeama’s significant contributions to the national team.
For the defense, Okonkwo opted for a back four consisting of Ola Aina, Calvin Bassey, William Troost-Ekong, and Elderson Echiejile, each known for their solid performances in various competitions.
