A significant managerial shift is on the horizon in Italian football as Atalanta reportedly moves to appoint Maurizio Sarri as its new head coach.
Details: Insider Fabrizio Romano has revealed that negotiations with the 67-year-old Sarri have advanced to the final stage, with both parties nearing a verbal agreement on key contract terms. Current coach Raffaele Palladino is expected to depart his role at the club shortly.
Sources indicate that the remaining hurdles for the agreement involve finalizing legal details and concluding Sarri’s existing commitments with Lazio, where he has been coaching since June 2025.
In another notable development, Atalanta has changed its logo for the first time in 30 years.
