Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Luke Baartman has warned that Chippa United will pose a significant challenge in their upcoming match. Baartman highlighted the precarious position of Chippa in the league, which could lead them to face relegation play-offs, making them a formidable opponent.
This afternoon, the Chilli Boys are set to clash with Amakhosi at Moses Mabhida Stadium. Currently, Chippa United sits in 13th place with 25 points, prompting the team to enlist veteran coach Brandon Truter to help steer them away from the threat of relegation.
Baartman suggested that Chippa’s current situation will drive them to play with increased determination. “Like you all know, Chippa is in a dangerous position, they’re going to come with everything they have,” he remarked, emphasizing the importance of securing points for his team as well.
