Negotiations for the purchase of Sevilla FC by Sergio Ramos continue to face significant hurdles. The former Sevilla, Real Madrid, PSG, and Spain national team defender is experiencing fresh complications that have hindered the completion of the deal.

Details: Reports indicate that the 40-year-old Ramos is still unable to finalize the acquisition due to a last-minute pause from certain investors. This change of heart appears to be linked to alterations made by the selling shareholders to previously agreed terms.

Despite these challenges, Ramos remains optimistic about his aspirations to own Sevilla FC, although it seems he will need to exercise patience for now.

Sevilla FC holds special significance for Ramos, as it is the club where he began his career, advancing through the youth academy before making his top-flight debut in 2002. After a successful tenure at Real Madrid starting in 2005, Ramos returned to Sevilla for one season in 2024 before departing as a free agent.
