Real Madrid‘s young defender, Dean Huysen, has been ruled out of the Spanish national team due to muscle fatigue. The injury was confirmed during a medical check-up on Wednesday.
When Huysen joined the Spanish camp for World Cup qualifying matches against Georgia and Bulgaria, he was already experiencing health issues. However, due to the lack of improvement, he was sent back to Madrid for further examination and rest.
The injury is not serious, and there are indications that he might return to play within one or two weeks. He is expected to participate in Real Madrid’s matches following the international break.
With Huysen’s absence, Spain’s manager Luis de la Fuente called up Aymeric Laporte as his replacement. Although Laporte’s return will bring experience and stability to the defense, Spain is still facing injury challenges with key players missing.
