Goa: Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will not be coming to India for the match against FC Goa in the AFC Champions League. Despite specific requests from FC Goa’s management, discussions between Ronaldo and Al-Nassr officials led to this decision.

Ronaldo has decided against traveling to Goa as he focuses on his fitness and travel plans ahead of next year’s World Cup. The match will be held at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Although Ronaldo won’t be present, other star players from Al-Nassr, such as Sadio Mane and Joao Felix, are expected to come to India for the match. The list submitted by Al-Nassr for visa applications did include Ronaldo, but his participation remained uncertain. His absence has disappointed Indian football fans, but the presence of Mane and Felix may still make the match exciting for the football community.
