Kannur: The matches of Kannur Warriors FC will take place at Jawaharlal Stadium in Kannur. The team has five home matches scheduled at this venue. The first match will be on November 7, where Kannur Warriors FC will face Thrissur Magic FC at 7:30 PM.
Following this, the home opponents will be Thiruvananthapuram Kompan’s FC on November 10, Malappuram FC on November 19, Force Kochi FC on November 23, and Calicut FC on November 28.
An organizing committee has been formed for the successful management of the matches in Kannur, along with the inauguration of the office and ticket sales on October 31. Besides the five home matches, the team will also play five away matches, four of which have already been completed. Kannur Warriors have secured three wins and one draw in these away matches, gathering ten points without any losses in the Kerala Super League. Their last away match will be against Thrissur Magic FC at Thrissur Corporation Stadium. The top four teams in the group will qualify for the semifinals. The venues for the semifinals and finals have not been decided yet; the first season’s matches were held in Kozhikode.
In the first season of the Kerala Super League, Kannur Warriors did not have their own home stadium and played their matches at Kozhikode Corporation Stadium. It is also significant that football matches are returning to Kannur after a long gap.
