Kannur: After a break, football returned to Kannur, attracting a large crowd. The Super League match of Kannur Warriors FC was held at the Municipal Jawahar Stadium, with thousands of fans arriving from various parts of the district.

November 7 will be remembered as a significant day in the history of Kannur football. The club management noted that the support and participation from fans were inspiring and helped revive the spirit of football in Kannur. They also apologized for the difficulties some fans faced due to the crowd at the stadium on match day, appreciating the love and enthusiasm shown by supporters.

The management assured that they would ensure necessary arrangements to make future matches more organized and convenient. For those who couldn’t attend due to ticket issues, the club decided to offer tickets for upcoming home games. Fans can exchange their old tickets at the club office in Jawahar Stadium before 12:00 PM on November 17. Additionally, those who paid for jerseys online but haven’t received them can pick them up at the club office from November 15 to 22. The distribution was delayed due to a higher demand for certain sizes. For those who no longer want the jersey, the club will provide refunds.

The club chairman, Dr. A.P. Hassan Kunhi, expressed gratitude for the support and mentioned that if enthusiasm continues, Kannur could become a key center for Kerala football once again.
