Spanish head coach Gerard Saragosa, assistant coach Sebastian Weg, and conditioning coach Ionis Gkiokas have parted ways with Bengaluru FC (BFC) by mutual agreement. Saragosa, who led the team to the Indian Super League (ISL) Cup final last season and was appointed head coach in December 2023, decided to leave amid uncertainties regarding the future of the ISL.
Following this sudden change, assistant coach Renedy Singh has been appointed as the interim coach of Bengaluru FC. He brings a wealth of experience, including a previous role as interim head coach of East Bengal FC.
