Manchester United faced a disappointing defeat in the English Premier League. Today at Old Trafford, Everton managed to beat Manchester United 1-0, despite playing most of the match with just ten players. United couldn’t capitalize on the home advantage or the fact that their opponents were short-staffed.

The match began with a confrontation between Everton players Michael Keane and Idrissa Gueye in the 13th minute, leading to a red card for Gueye after he struck Keane in the face. Despite being a man down, Everton played well. They took the lead in the 29th minute through Dwight McNeil.

After scoring, Everton focused on defense. They successfully kept United from creating clear opportunities. In the second half, United made several substitutions, but they couldn’t find the equalizer. Everton’s goalkeeper Jordan Pickford also made several good saves, contributing to the team’s strong performance.

This defeat ended United’s five-match unbeaten streak. They are currently in 10th place in the league with 18 points, while Everton, with the same points, is sitting in 11th place.
