Real Madrid defender Éder Militão has been confirmed to have an injury to his left thigh, affecting the biceps femoris muscle and the proximal tendon. Due to this injury, Militão will be sidelined for approximately 3 to 4 months.
This means he will miss critical matches, including the Champions League clash against Manchester City. The 27-year-old Brazilian had to leave the game during the La Liga match against Celta Vigo due to severe pain.
Militão, who has previously faced two ACL injuries in earlier seasons, now faces this new muscle setback, which is a blow not only for him but also for Real Madrid’s defense.
The injury comes at a time when other issues are affecting the defense, notably following Trent Alexander-Arnold’s recent injury.
