The announcement of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 season schedule has been delayed, according to Revsportz. The schedule, which was set to be revealed on Wednesday, has been postponed due to strong objections from clubs regarding provisions in the new constitution proposed by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). Starting from the 2026-27 season, the new charter aims to place ownership of the top league in India under AIFF. This plan includes granting the federation substantial veto powers over major decisions, which clubs are opposing. The governing council and management are also involved in these discussions.
