2025-26 season of the Malappuram District ‘A’ Division League football championship kicked off in Edavanna. The event was held at the Edavanna Seethi Haji Stadium, where Professor P. Ashraf, Executive Member of the Kerala Football Association, officially launched the championship.
Dr. P.M. Sudheerkumar, Secretary of the Malappuram District Football Association, Treasurer Nayim, Vice President K.V. Khalid, Sirajuddin P., Executive Member Rafeeq, and other members of the Kerala Football Association’s General Body were present at the inauguration.
