Raheem Sterling’s Chelsea Contract Terminated
Raheem Sterling has parted ways with Chelsea FC after a mutual agreement to end his contract. The 31-year-old forward’s time at the club, which lasted three and a half years, was marked by a disappointing spell. Sterling was once the highest-paid player at Chelsea, earning over £300,000 a week. However, this season, he did not play in any matches for the senior team. Coaches Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior had kept him out of the squad, leading to his departure.
