The Golden State Warriors are facing ongoing challenges. While Steph Curry remains a top player, he can’t carry the team alone.

Given this situation, General Manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. is considering a major trade.

Monte Poole from NBC Sports Bay Area reports that the Warriors are willing to pursue Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, making all players except Curry available for trade.

Warriors are prepared to meet Bucks’ demands

According to Poole, any team looking to acquire Antetokounmpo will have to make significant sacrifices.

“Several sources indicate that the Warriors are ready to meet those demands. They’re prepared to give up a lot. The assumption is that Curry is the only player they won’t trade,” Poole stated.

The Warriors have been hesitant to part with future picks and previously expressed their intention not to trade the injured Jimmy Butler. However, their approach seems to be shifting.

Earlier this week, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst noted that the Warriors could outbid other teams interested in Antetokounmpo with their trade offer.

“The Golden State Warriors are at the top of the list for a straightforward trade with the Bucks. They hold all their future draft assets and can trade them all,” Windhorst mentioned.
