The loanee has not been successful at Tottenham.

Tottenham forward Randal Kolo Muani is yet to make a mark at N17 since joining from PSG last summer. The French player came on a season-long loan without a buy option, and his impact has been limited under Thomas Frank’s management. The 27-year-old is still looking for his first Premier League goal of the season.

Kolo Muani joined Spurs on transfer deadline day as the club aimed to support Thomas Frank during the summer window. However, he has had a tough time adjusting to the Premier League’s demands. He has not shown the same form he displayed during his loan at Juventus last season, where he stood out in the second half of the campaign.

In contrast, the forward has found more success in the Champions League, scoring three goals this season. Notably, all three of Kolo Muani’s goals for Spurs were against his previous teams, PSG and Eintracht Frankfurt. Despite these achievements in Europe, there is still a significant chance that he could be left out of Didier Deschamps’ World Cup squad this summer.

Tottenham unlikely to allow an early exit for Randal Kolo Muani

Fans have expressed frustration over Randal Kolo Muani’s performances this season. He has struggled to gain their support and find consistent form under Thomas Frank, resulting in him slipping down the selection list at N17. The coach has been favoring Dominic Solanke over him in recent matches.

Consequently, it is not surprising that Kolo Muani has shown interest in cutting his loan short and seeking an early exit. Recent reports suggest that he could return to Juventus on loan for the latter part of the season, as the Serie A club is looking to strengthen its attack. The striker is also eager to go back to Italy to regain his form.

However, a return to Juventus seems less likely as the transfer window nears its end. According to TuttoSport (via Give Me Sport), PSG has approved Juventus to sign the striker on loan for the season. Still, Thomas Frank may be a hurdle, as he is hesitant to let Kolo Muani leave without having a replacement ready.

Spurs face a dilemma with only hours left in the transfer window. Due to ongoing injuries, they need to maintain their squad depth for the rest of the campaign. The Frenchman might get more playing time soon, especially with Richarlison out due to a long-term injury. Tottenham might have to rely on the 27-year-old to help avoid a relegation fight and regain their Premier League winning form.
