Everton and Sunderland are in a last-minute race to sign Chelsea’s young talent, Tyrique George. The transfer window closes this Monday, and journalist Pete O’Rourke has reported that both teams want to bring in the 19-year-old winger.

Chelsea is open to offers as George has not had much playing time this season, with only 143 minutes in the Premier League for the 2025/26 campaign. At Goodison Park, there is a pressing need for new players. An injury to Jack Grealish has greatly reduced the creative options for manager David Moyes. Grealish had contributed six assists before his foot injury, leaving a significant gap on the left. Dwight McNeil has struggled to take on this role effectively.
