The Memphis Grizzlies are making significant changes to their team.

On Tuesday, they traded forward Jaren Jackson Jr. to the Utah Jazz in an eight-player deal. Memphis will receive three first-round draft picks as part of this trade.

While it’s not surprising that the Grizzlies are moving on from their current roster, Jackson had not been a frequent name in trade discussions.

It was more likely that Ja Morant would be traded, and that possibility remains open.
