Ex-Tottenham player Ramon Vega believes his former team will lose a key talent to Bayern Munich this summer.

The 2025/26 season for Spurs has not gone well, leading to increasing frustration among supporters.

Head coach Thomas Frank faces criticism for his defensive tactics, and the board has been questioned for not investing enough.

Vega warns that Tottenham fans might hear more bad news, as a rising star could depart for Bayern in the next transfer window.

Ramon Vega believes Vuskovic will not play competitively for Spurs again and will join Bayern this summer.

He tweeted: “This player is not coming back to Spurs! They had chances but made the wrong decisions.”

“This shows the ongoing issues within the club’s football department.”

“Tottenham will make a profit, but there’s no clear football direction. Off to Bayern he goes, and I won’t blame him.”

Vega mentioned he heard about Bayern’s interest in Vuskovic directly.

“Let’s just say I’ve heard it through the grapevine. Spurs still need to agree to the fee they propose.”

Lothar Matthaus rates Luka Vuskovic highly

Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthaus, now a Bundesliga pundit, is a big fan of Vuskovic.

He believes Vuskovic is even “more intelligent” than he was at that age.

“At 18, he plays like he has been in three World Cups!” he stated on Sky Sport DE.

“Even at 30, I didn’t see what he sees at 18. This player is incredibly intelligent.”

With comments like this, it’s clear why Bayern is considering a move for him.
