Tottenham may have a chance to sign a Bundesliga winger this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur did not expand their transfer activities much during the recent January window, only bringing in two players. Conor Gallagher joined from Atletico Madrid to strengthen the midfield, while young talent Souza came in from Santos shortly after.

The team aimed to sign a winger during the winter transfer window, particularly after selling Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace and losing Mohammed Kudus to injury for several months. Last week, Thomas Frank mentioned that Tottenham considered signing Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth, but the Ghanaian player chose to move to Manchester City instead.

Maghnes Akliouche was a key target, but Tottenham did not agree to AS Monaco’s £50m+ asking price. There were also strong links between Spurs and FC Koln winger Said El Mala.
