Celtic remains a leading club in Scottish football, always seeking ways to strengthen their squad.
While Hearts currently sit at the top of the league, Celtic and Rangers are the main teams in the Scottish Premiership, each having won the title 55 times.
The situation is different in the Scottish Women’s Premier League.
Glasgow City leads the league, with Celtic trailing in second place.
To enhance their defense and compete for the top position, Celtic Women has signed a new defender.
The club announced the signing of Evie Rabjohn from Manchester United on their official website.
The announcement stated: “Celtic FC Women are thrilled to confirm the signing of Evie Rabjohn on a two-and-a-half-year contract, having joined us after spending two years at Manchester United.”
It added, “Rabjohn comes to us with first-team experience gained during her loan at Sunderland FC in the Barclays WSL 2, where she played alongside fellow January recruit, Tara O’Hanlon.”
In her first statement as a Celtic player, Rabjohn shared: “I’m very excited to be here! I’m ready to play and show what I can do.”
She added: “This is a massive club, and I’m really happy to join.
“Coming to Celtic gives me the chance to compete for trophies and titles, which is a dream I’ve had since childhood.
“Having the opportunity to pursue that here is fantastic, and I look forward to it.”
