Manchester United is set to be active in the summer transfer window, encouraged by the positive changes seen in their squad under new manager Michael Carrick.

Parting ways with Ruben Amorim has proven beneficial, as new additions like Bryan Mbeumo, Patrick Dorgu, Matheus Cunha, and young striker Benjamin Sesko are performing better with the new coaching direction.

However, Manchester United still has areas to address. According to transfer insider Ben Jacobs on The United Stand show, the club is looking at four key signings for the summer 2026 transfer window.

Jacobs suggests that Manchester United will aim for two top midfielders to refresh an aging roster, including the significant transfer disappointment, Manuel Ugarte.

Additionally, Jacobs anticipates the addition of another striker to support Sesko, mentioning Joshua Zirkzee as a potential target. He also noted the possibility of bringing in another left winger or left wing-back, highlighting Yan Diomande as a name to watch.

If Manchester United successfully signs these four players, particularly in midfield, they could have a strong chance for a Premier League title challenge, especially with the right coaching—possibly under Carrick.
