In a recent episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Everton chief Keith Wyness discussed Sunderland’s interest in Fulham playmaker Harry Wilson. Wyness noted,
“He’s a talented player, but he’s now 28. This could be a significant move for him going forward.
“However, I don’t think he will be transferring. I expected him to make a move in January, but Fulham wants to keep him for now. With Oscar Bobb joining, he will face more competition in the team. We’ll see how things develop in the second half of the season.
“If he feels the need for a transfer, he might start performing better. He has scored impressive goals before, and his skills can benefit various teams.
“What surprised me is Sunderland considering a move for Harry Wilson. He would fit in well with their playing style, and I wouldn’t rule out their interest in the summer.”
Wilson’s Impressive Numbers In English Football
Wilson is having a strong season at Fulham, showcasing his abilities in the Premier League. He has recorded nine goals and provided five assists in 28 appearances for the team this season across all competitions.
