Manchester United‘s 1-1 draw with West Ham ended their four-match winning streak, leaving goalkeeper Senne Lammens disappointed that they couldn’t keep it going.
Lammens has been a key player for United since joining on deadline day at the start of the 2025/26 season, quickly becoming a reliable choice in goal.
Although the season has seen ups and downs, including the sacking of Ruben Amorim in January, Lammens has brought stability to the defense.
He has shown significant improvement compared to both Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir. Onana is currently on loan at Trabzonspor and is set to be sold permanently this summer.
Since Michael Carrick took over as interim coach until the end of the season, he has stuck with Lammens as his first-choice goalkeeper. Lammens has responded well, earning two clean sheets in the five matches under Carrick’s management.
However, he was unable to achieve another clean sheet during Tuesday’s match, as West Ham held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
