Arsenal

Arsenal is the top club in southern England and currently leads the Premiership. They play at the Emirates Stadium, which has a capacity of 60,000 and is highly regarded in the UK. Iconic players and managers, like Henry, Brady, and Bergkamp, have been part of the team’s history. Arsenal is known for having some of the strongest teams, including one that went an entire league season without losing. The club has also achieved league and cup doubles three times. While the Champions League title has been elusive for the men’s team, they have reached the final.

Manchester United

Manchester United enjoys strong support and has had many strong teams throughout its history. Legendary players like Best, Charlton, Ronaldo, and Rooney have worn the Red Devils jersey, contributing to numerous European and league titles. While nostalgic memories often focus on the Busby Babes of the 1960s, recent squads have struggled to match the elite level of Europe.

However, Manchester United’s total trophy count is surpassed only by Liverpool. The club remains financially powerful in Europe, though its standing in the 2026 Deloitte Football Money League has declined. Old Trafford, the largest soccer stadium in England, has hosted many memorable matches. Like Arsenal, Manchester United has also secured three league and cup doubles.

Chelsea

Chelsea ranks slightly below Tottenham in the 2026 Deloitte Football Money League, but has a stronger trophy collection. The Blues have won more league titles and European trophies compared to Spurs, along with a couple of FIFA Club World Cups. Chelsea also outperforms Tottenham in social media influence and global popularity metrics. Moreover, Spurs could find themselves in the Championship next season!

Manchester City

For many years, Manchester City was considered a sleeping giant of English soccer, experiencing both successful eras and periods of decline. Everything changed in 2008 when the Abu Dhabi United Group acquired the club, enhancing its financial power significantly. Since then, City has become a major force, with managers like Mancini, Pellegrini, and Guardiola leading the team to multiple league titles. Under Guardiola, Manchester City has dominated English soccer, winning six out of the last eight league titles and is in contention for another Premier League title this season.
