Slovenia striker Benjamin Sesko has shared his thoughts on playing under Manchester United‘s interim manager, Michael Carrick.
Since Carrick’s appointment, Sesko has not started a Premier League match. He remained on the bench in Carrick’s debut, which ended with a 2-0 win over Manchester City.
However, he has come off the bench in the next four league games, making a notable impact. Earlier this month, he scored a last-minute winner against Fulham at Old Trafford.
He followed that up with another key moment by scoring a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw with West Ham.

Benjamin Sesko appeared on Manchester United’s official podcast, Inside Carrington, and discussed his experience with Michael Carrick.
The former RB Salzburg player praised Carrick’s influence on the first team and acknowledged the positive role of the entire coaching staff.
“First of all, he’s an amazing person,” Sesko said on Inside Carrington. “That really means a lot, but he’s also a very good coach. The whole team he has is working incredibly well.”

Since becoming interim manager, Carrick has brought in new coaching staff, including former England assistant Steve Holland.
Sesko highlighted that Carrick and his team focus on providing detailed feedback to players to help them understand their roles better.
“They offer all the details you need to improve, to understand what to do in the game,” he said. “Their communication is excellent.”
“I’m really glad he came here and pleased with what we have achieved.”
The Slovenian striker has scored seven goals and provided one assist in 23 matches for Manchester United this season.
