Damian Lillard made his return to the court unforgettable.

Less than a year after tearing his Achilles, Lillard, who will miss the entire 2025-26 season, won the NBA’s Three-Point Contest, scoring 29 points in the final round to beat Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns by two points.

Lillard scored 27 points in the first round to reach the finals, where he faced Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel. With this win, he became one of only three players, alongside Craig Hodges and Larry Bird, to claim the 3-point challenge title three times.

It was an outstanding performance from Lillard, who is recognized as one of the best three-point shooters in NBA history. He is ranked fifth for the most three-pointers made, with 2,804, trailing only Stephen Curry (4,233), James Harden (3,318), Ray Allen (2,973), and Klay Thompson (2,837).
