Following his remarkable Super Bowl performance, Bad Bunny is on his “Debi Tirar Mas Fotos World Tour.” Recently, he held three sold-out shows at Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

As is common at concerts, artists make changes to their performances to resonate with local audiences. Bad Bunny did just that by altering the lyrics of one of his songs to reference Lionel Messi instead of Cristiano Ronaldo.

During a concert in Buenos Aires, he surprised attendees by performing a salsa version of Soda Stereo’s “De Musica Ligera.” He also modified one of his hit songs to include a dedication to Argentina’s national team captain.

In “Otra Noche en Miami,” he changed the line “I’m Cristiano after scoring a goal” to “I’m Messi after scoring a goal.” This switch thrilled the crowd, who appreciated the homage.

Additionally, Bad Bunny wore an Argentine national team jersey featuring the number 19, which was Messi’s initial squad number when he joined the team, as the No. 10 was held by Juan Roman Riquelme at that time.

Meanwhile, Messi is currently recovering from a hamstring injury sustained during a match with Inter Miami. This injury kept him from playing in a friendly match in Puerto Rico, which had to be rescheduled to accommodate his participation, as he was the event’s highlight.

The official player list for the 2026 World Cup, called up by Lionel Scaloni, has yet to be announced. Nevertheless, many fans in Argentina and around the world are hopeful that Messi will play in the World Cup, set to take place in Mexico, the United States, and Canada.
