After leaving Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has taken a break from football management to relax.
This week, he was spotted ringing the bell at the Winter Olympics, enjoying time away from the routine of daily matches.
Although Klopp plans to step back from management following his departure from Liverpool in 2024, he remains linked to several prominent positions.
Recent reports indicate that he may be considered for roles at Chelsea or Manchester United. Claims have surfaced that both clubs contacted his representatives about a potential return.
However, Fabrizio Romano has reported that both clubs have denied these rumors.

In a recent update on his YouTube channel, Romano mentioned that he spoke directly with both clubs about the situation.
He stated that while both clubs admire Klopp’s achievements, there have been no formal attempts to hire him.
Romano clarified: “When contacted, both clubs – Manchester United and Chelsea – played down those reports, saying that nothing has occurred regarding Jurgen Klopp apart from their respect for one of the best managers.”
“Both clubs confirm that they have not engaged in any advanced or serious discussions to appoint Jurgen Klopp.”
Chelsea has recently appointed Liam Rosenior as their new manager. Meanwhile, Manchester United is still looking for its next manager, so discussions about Klopp may arise later this summer.
Jurgen Klopp has also been linked to Real Madrid
Real Madrid could be seeking a permanent manager this summer, having appointed former Liverpool player Alvaro Arbeloa as an interim coach. Despite the rumors, Romano indicates that there are currently no developments between Klopp and the Spanish team.
“On the future of Jurgen Klopp, remember that he’s still focused on the Red Bull project,” he explained.
“Regarding Real Madrid, let’s see how Arbeloa performs, as he is doing well. As for Klopp, although some in the Real Madrid board appreciate him, I’m not aware of any concrete discussions at this time.”
Klopp remains a highly respected figure in football and could likely take any role he desires. However, he has chosen to honor his commitment to taking a break from coaching.
