As the 2025-26 NBA season approaches, Detroit Pistons player Cade Cunningham is now viewed as having the seventh-best chance to claim the NFL Most Valuable Player title, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
Following a standout performance after the All-Star break, where he scored 40 points and made 13 assists, his odds have improved to third place, trailing only Shai Gilgeous-Alexander from OKC and Nikola Jokic from Denver.
The win marks the Pistons’ fourth consecutive victory, bringing their record to 41-13. They hold a 5.5-game lead over the Boston Celtics for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. This game was also Cunningham’s third time scoring 40 points in a game this season, placing him among 11 players in Pistons history who have achieved this multiple times in a single season.
