The Charlotte Hornets faced challenges after losing two starters, Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate, due to four-game suspensions.

As they entered Sunday with a 1-2 record without these players, the team turned things around, breaking a two-game losing streak with a strong three-point performance.

LaMelo Ball shines in Hornets’ victory

In a standout performance, LaMelo Ball led the Hornets to a 129-112 victory over the Washington Wizards. He delivered one of the best games of his career.

Ball scored 37 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and provided seven assists in just 27 minutes. He made 10 three-pointers, matching a franchise record shared with four former Hornets. Notably, he did not have a single turnover, a first for him since January 2.

Kon Knueppel added 28 points, and Brandon Miller contributed 22 points, each hitting five three-pointers. Together, Ball, Knueppel, and Miller combined for 20 of the Hornets’ 25 three-pointers in the win.
