Sesko has made an impact as a substitute under Carrick, stepping onto the field to secure the win at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The match featured few clear chances, with United registering 1.27 expected goals (xG) compared to Everton’s 0.62. Sesko’s goal came from a moment of quality in the 71st minute.

Matheus Cunha delivered a superb pass to Bryan Mbeumo, who then set up Michael Keane before passing to Sesko, resulting in a well-executed counter-attack.

Senne Lammens was solid in the goal, fending off numerous corners from Everton and making critical saves against Keane and Tyrique George.
