Barcelona is making a decision on whether to turn Marcus Rashford’s loan into a permanent deal.
The England forward has had a successful loan at Camp Nou, with a £26 million option to extend his stay beyond the summer.
While Manchester United is firm on their asking price, Rashford’s representatives and Deco are reportedly in discussions to expedite the process. Michael Carrick has also indicated that Rashford could return to United if things do not work out in Spain.

Currently, Rashford earns £300,000 a week at United, making him one of the club’s highest earners.
However, Barcelona is facing financial difficulties and aims to cut costs. Reports suggest that Rashford is open to lowering his salary to facilitate a permanent transfer.
His willingness to accept a pay cut indicates that he hopes to stay in Catalonia next season.
United insists that Barcelona must pay the full £26 million fee. After that, they will need to negotiate personal terms with the 28-year-old.
The involvement of Rashford’s representatives in talks with Deco shows that progress is being made ahead of the summer transfer window.
Rashford risks £35,000 fine for repeat discipline issues
Hansi Flick, the manager of Barcelona, is a strong supporter of Rashford and is pushing for his loan to become permanent.
Nevertheless, Rashford has encountered some disciplinary problems this season, including being late on multiple occasions.
Erik ten Hag previously sidelined Rashford for being late to a match against Wolves, although he did come off the bench to make an impact in that game.
Flick has now implemented strict rules at Barcelona, confirmed by Ferran Torres, stating that players will face a £35,000 (€40,000) fine for tardiness on matchdays.
If Rashford repeats his past issues from United, he could face significant penalties under the new system at Barcelona.
