Paris Saint-Germain continued their Champions League campaign by drawing 2-2 with Monaco in the second leg of their playoff, securing a 5-4 aggregate victory.

Fans felt the tension at Parc des Princes when Maghnes Akliouche levelled the score just before halftime, but Coulibaly’s red card changed the game.

Marquinhos and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored in quick succession to nearly seal their place in the last 16, with Jordan Teze scoring a late goal for Monaco.

Monaco missed two early opportunities as Coulibaly shot over from close range and Thilo Kehrer headed wide from a cross.

After Bradley Barcola hit the crossbar for PSG, Akliouche gave Monaco the lead with a close-range shot that went in off the post.

The match was evenly balanced at the start of the second half until Coulibaly received two quick yellow cards, allowing PSG to capitalize. Marquinhos scored from a set-piece shortly after.

Kvaratskhelia then scored the crucial goal in the 66th minute, reacting quickly to a rebound after Philipp Kohn saved a shot from Achraf Hakimi.

Teze brought some tension back with a goal in stoppage time, but PSG held on as Woet Faes’ header from a free-kick just missed the target in the final moments.
