During the 2025-26 NBA season, it looked like Giannis Antetokounmpo might leave the Milwaukee Bucks for good.
After missing five weeks due to a calf strain and the passing trade deadline, the two-time MVP is returning to play against Boston on Monday night. The Bucks currently sit at 26-33, three games behind the Charlotte Hornets for the final Play-In spot in the Eastern Conference. Interestingly, they managed a winning record (8-7) without Antetokounmpo. However, following two tough losses to the Knicks and Bulls, they clearly need Giannis to push for a playoff spot.
