The Oklahoma City Thunder secured a position in the 2026 NBA playoffs after defeating the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the reigning MVP, scored 30 points in his second game back following a nine-game absence due to an abdominal strain.
With 20 games remaining in the regular season, the Thunder hold a three-game lead over the San Antonio Spurs for the top spot in the Western Conference. This season, SGA averages 31.8 points, 6.4 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game. However, his chances for a second MVP title may be in jeopardy. To qualify for the award, players must meet the NBA’s requirement of playing at least 65 games, meaning the 27-year-old can only afford to miss a few more games this season.
This leads us to today’s quiz: If SGA wins a second consecutive MVP, he will join the ranks of those who have earned the award in back-to-back seasons since 2010. How many NBA MVPs can you list in seven minutes?
Good luck!
