The star in question has delivered a decent return for Tottenham.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has been rumored to leave the club for some time. The team has been exploring options to sell him, but attempts have not succeeded. Although he scored recently against Fulham, his performance has often been inconsistent and affected by injuries since joining from Everton.
Richarlison linked with Fulham transfer
The Brazilian forward is reportedly on the move this summer, especially after being seen talking with Fulham manager Marco Silva post-match. According to Football Insider, Fulham might offer a chance for Richarlison to reunite with Silva, under whom he thrived at Watford before moving to Everton.
As he enters the final year of his contract with Tottenham, it seems likely he will be sold, despite having netted his eighth league goal last weekend.
Tottenham do have a #9 problem?
Since Harry Kane’s departure, Tottenham has been seeking a top striker. They brought in Solanke, but he hasn’t performed like he did at Bournemouth. Kolo Muani, also on loan, has similarly struggled to find his form at the club.
With changes expected this summer, Richarlison is likely to leave, and Kolo Muani will return to PSG.
Author Opinion
Current links to Fulham stem from the conversation between Richarlison and Silva, but it’s uncertain whether Fulham will pursue a new striker given they have Muniz and Raul already. Unless one of them is sold, a new signing seems unlikely.
However, it does appear that Richarlison will depart Tottenham next summer, whether to a Premier League club or elsewhere.
