In the 2025-26 season, Orlando Magic player Paolo Banchero had a challenging year, but he showcased his talent in a 126-109 victory over the Washington Wizards.
Banchero matched his season-high with 37 points, shooting efficiently with 15-of-21 from the field, hitting 1-of-2 three-pointers, and making 6-of-7 free throws. He also contributed six assists and five rebounds. This strong performance followed a day after a tense exchange between him and Magic head coach Jahmal Mosley in the media after a loss to Detroit.
With this win, and considering Philadelphia’s severe 40-point loss to the San Antonio Spurs, the Magic are now only 0.5 games away from the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference, aiming to avoid the Play-In Tournament.
