Igor Tudor is under pressure to turn Tottenham’s fortunes around in the Premier League.

Many believed it was too late for Tottenham to replace Thomas Frank with Igor Tudor as the season ends. The club had initially aimed to support Frank while he worked to improve their Premier League performance. However, they opted to appoint Tudor on an interim basis to avoid relegation.

Despite having no experience coaching in the Premier League, some questioned Spurs’ decision to bring in Tudor for this crucial role. His previous work included saving Udinese from relegation twice, suggesting he could handle tough situations.

However, things have not gone well for Tudor at Spurs. The team has lost their last three league matches, allowing nine goals, and is now just one point above the relegation zone, putting his position in jeopardy.

Tottenham could still stick with Igor Tudor for the upcoming UCL clash

Following a loss to Crystal Palace, Spurs have gone 11 matches without a win in the Premier League this season, marking their longest winless streak. The team is facing relegation while also competing in the Champions League’s knockout stages.

Their next match is against Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16, which many see as a distraction. However, it could provide Tudor a chance to turn the season around.

Jonathan Pearce suggested that Tudor will likely remain in charge for the upcoming Champions League match, despite some calls for his dismissal. On BBC Radio, Pearce noted, “I don’t know who Tottenham could turn to. This is a team in dire straits. You can’t get rid of Tudor after three games.” He believes dismissing him now would not be sensible and that he will likely stay for the match against Atletico.

Spurs are in a tough situation, and the players do not appear ready to improve their performance soon. There is a belief among supporters that the team is struggling, and Tudor may not have the experience to unite them under his ideas. Fans can only hope that the team begins to pick up essential points before it’s too late.
