As the 2025/26 Premier League season draws to a close, West Ham’s performance has significantly improved. After a 3-0 defeat to Wolves on January 3, relegation seemed likely. However, they are now close to catching up with Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur.
West Ham’s Form: The Fixtures since Wolves Away
Since that match against Wolves, West Ham has found the net in most of their Premier League games, achieving some key victories.
The standout win came against Tottenham Hotspur, where Callum Wilson scored a dramatic winner in the 93rd minute after a chaotic goal-line situation. This victory boosted West Ham’s confidence, particularly given the rivalry between the two teams.
They also secured a solid win away against Burnley, scoring twice in the first half hour and sealing the three points early on.
Recently, West Ham defeated Fulham in a tightly contested match. Crysencio Summerville scored the winner by capitalizing on a defensive error, showcasing West Ham’s improved ability to secure results.
West Ham’s Form: The New Additions
West Ham’s positive performance since January can be attributed in part to the new signings from the transfer window. The team made several important additions.
Defensively, the arrival of Axel Disasi has been particularly beneficial. The French defender joined late in the window and has quickly become a key player for West Ham after not getting much playtime at Chelsea.
Valentin Castellanos has also contributed to West Ham’s attack. While he has netted only two goals in nine appearances, he has brought experience and determination to the team.
Other signings, such as Adama Traore and Pablo, have not fully utilized their chances. Still, the team’s overall form remains strong despite limited contributions from some new players.
