Manchester United is looking to sign several central midfielders this summer. While Felix Nmecha was considered, he is not among their top choices.

Reports from Fabrizio Romano and Patrick Berger of Sky Sports Germany indicate that Nmecha has officially signed a long-term deal with Borussia Dortmund, as confirmed by the club on social media.

Dortmund had targeted Nmecha after a standout season where he emerged as one of Germany’s top midfielders, helping to address some of the concerns in their midfield, alongside young talent Jobe Bellingham.

Manchester City had also shown interest in bringing Nmecha back, having developed him as a youth player before his success in the Bundesliga with Dortmund.

However, according to Fab, Manchester City is not pursuing Nmecha and prefers other options. With Nmecha no longer in the picture, Manchester United will focus on players like Bruno Guimaraes, Sandro Tonali, Elliot Anderson, and Adam Wharton for their midfield needs.
