• Lyon held to a 0-0 draw by 10-man Le Havre; now winless in four games.

  • Marseille narrowly beat Auxerre 1-0; Lens lost 2-1 to Lorient.

  • PSG stays top of the table with a one-point lead and a game in hand against Nantes.

Lyon’s struggle continued on Sunday as they drew 0-0 with Le Havre, despite the hosts playing with ten men from the 56th minute.

Le Havre performed well and Lyon is now two points behind third-place Marseille in Ligue 1.

Stephan Zagadou was sent off for fouling Endrick. Le Havre, now ten points clear of the relegation zone, hit the woodwork twice during the match.

On Friday, Marseille secured a 1-0 victory over struggling Auxerre, while second-place Lens lost 2-1 at Lorient, missing the opportunity to regain the top spot.

Paris Saint-Germain did not play this weekend but holds a one-point lead at the top and has a match in hand. Nantes postponed their game to give PSG extra time to prepare for their Champions League second leg against Chelsea, where PSG leads 5-2 from the first match.

Fernandez-Pardo shines for Lille

Lille defeated Rennes 2-1 on the road, closing the gap to Marseille to five points.

Matias Fernandez-Pardo opened the scoring for Lille and assisted Hákon Haraldsson early in the second half. Estéban Lepaul scored for Rennes, narrowing the gap.

This marked Rennes’ first loss since coach Franck Haise took over last month.

On the eve of the match, clashes occurred between groups of supporters from both teams, with reports of police using tear gas and one injury among fans.

In another match, Mario Sauer scored deep into injury time to give Toulouse a 4-3 victory over Metz, extending Metz’s winless streak to 14 games.

Sauer remarked, “It was a crazy game. We deserved it today, and this win was very important for us.”

Paris FC and Strasbourg ended their match in a 0-0 draw.
