Denis Bouanga scored three goals in just eight minutes, leading Los Angeles FC to a 6-0 victory against Orlando City SC on Saturday.

LAFC (5-0-1, 16 points) has not allowed any goals during its unbeaten start, outscoring opponents 14-0. Their 540-minute streak without conceding matches the ninth-longest in MLS history.

Hugo Lloris has been in goal for all six shutouts, marking the 11th-longest goalless period for any goalkeeper in MLS. He saved all six shots on target during the match, making several key stops as Orlando pressed in the second half.

Bouanga’s hat trick is the fifth of his MLS career, now tied for the second-most in league history. Although he started the season slowly with just one goal in LAFC’s first five games, he made a significant comeback.

Son Heung-Min recorded four assists, tying for the second-highest single-game assist total in MLS history.

Sergi Palencia and Tyler Boyd scored their first goals of the season, while Orlando’s David Brekalo contributed an own goal in the seventh minute.

Orlando City (1-5-0, three points) has the worst defensive record in the league, allowing 23 goals in six matches.

Brekalo’s own goal set a challenging tone early for Orlando, and the connection between Son and Bouanga quickly took over. In the 20th minute, Son’s precise pass found Bouanga, who chipped it past diving goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau.

Three minutes later, Bouanga scored again after outmaneuvering defender Nolan Miller in a one-on-one situation. Son’s strong pass allowed Bouanga to easily find the net.

The hat trick was completed in the 28th minute following a turnover by Orlando. Son seized the loose ball and set up Bouanga for another finish.

Palencia scored in the 39th minute after receiving a pass from Son. Boyd then added the final goal of the match in the 70th minute, heading in a cross from Jacob Shaffelburg.
