Things are looking increasingly dire for Tottenham Hotspur. In their recent match, they lost to Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. Less than a year ago, Sunderland was 4th in the Championship after a four-game losing streak.

With the threat of relegation from the Premier League becoming more real, Tottenham faces hard decisions about which players to keep.

Key players like Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, and Richarlison may leave if relegation occurs, so realistic choices must be made.

Antonin Kinsky

Don’t judge Antonin Kinsky too harshly after his tough debut against Atletico Madrid. He is a capable goalkeeper who faced a lot of challenges against Sunderland. There was little he could do about Nordi Mukiele’s deflected goal.

At just 23 years old, Kinsky has time to grow and improve. Given the current situation, holding on to him is essential.

Mikey Moore

Mikey Moore is currently on loan at Rangers but is contracted with Spurs until 2030. At only 18, Spurs should be cautious about letting him go permanently.

This season, Moore has performed well at Rangers, scoring six goals and providing three assists. He has expressed interest in securing a regular spot in the Tottenham first team, especially if relegation occurs.

Lucas Bergvall

Lucas Bergvall is a talented attacking midfielder known for his dribbling, passing, and goal-scoring ability. However, he has struggled with injuries, missing 13 Premier League games this season.

At 20 years old, despite being injury-prone, his maturity in play stands out. He can play various roles, including defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder, or right winger.

Kevin Danso

Kevin Danso may not be the flashiest player, but his work ethic on the field is evident. He is a physical, traditional centre-back and would be a valuable asset if Spurs drop to the Championship.

After signing permanently this summer following a loan period, he may not be a star player, but he is reliable and solid.

Archie Gray

Archie Gray has been like a captain for Tottenham this season. While Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven haven’t shown much leadership, Gray has consistently stepped up for the team.

His communication on the field is outstanding, although it might be a lot for such a young player. Nevertheless, his positive attitude and versatility make him a strong candidate for a long-term spot in the squad.
