John Stones, a 31-year-old defender for Manchester City, has made a significant decision regarding his future. After spending ten years with the club, he intends to leave as a free agent at the end of the current season.

According to well-known journalist Fabrizio Romano on his X social media account, Stones is committed to assisting Manchester City through the season finale but has no plans to extend his contract, which is set to expire on June 30 of this year.

Stones originally joined Manchester City from Everton in 2016 for €55.5 million. Throughout his tenure, he has made 292 appearances for the club, scoring 19 goals and providing 9 assists. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is estimated to be €15 million.
