Carlos Baleba, the Cameroonian international, appears to be outside of coach Fabian Hurzeler’s plans as the season progresses.
The midfielder, who gained recognition last season, is facing decreased playing time with Brighton & Hove Albion. As the season nears its end, Baleba’s position in Hurzeler’s lineup has diminished significantly.
During Brighton’s recent match against Tottenham on Saturday, which ended in a 2-2 draw on Matchday 33 of the Premier League, Baleba was once again confined to the bench. He did not play a single minute in the game, marking a challenging period for the midfielder, who has managed to clock only 31 minutes in his last four appearances.
