Reeve Frosler has expressed relief and satisfaction as he returns to the field with Kaizer Chiefs after a lengthy injury layoff since October. The Amakhosi right-back has reclaimed his position from Thabiso Monyane, who previously performed admirably in his absence.

Frosler made his comeback on Saturday night against Polokwane City and shared his joy at being back in the attacking role for Chiefs. “Being out injured is no fun for any player and I’m no different,” he stated. He added that the timing of his recovery coincided with the arrival of his second child, which allowed him to support his wife at home during that period.

In his first match back, Frosler contributed significantly to Chiefs’ 4-1 victory over Magesi FC, providing assists to Kanyisa Mayo and Mduduzi Shabalala after being introduced in the second half. “It’s always nice to make a contribution,” he remarked, noting that the team’s strong first-half performance made it easier for him to reintegrate into the game.

Frosler emphasized the positive atmosphere within the team, stating that being two goals up allowed them to play more offensively, benefitting his return to action.
