Juventus is exploring its summer transfer strategies and has pinpointed a priority position for strengthening: goalkeeper. The Italian club has set its sights on acquiring Liverpool‘s Alisson Becker as part of their plans.

Details: Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Juventus is eager to secure the services of the Brazilian goalkeeper. Meanwhile, Liverpool is engaged in negotiations with Alisson regarding a potential contract extension, with his current agreement lasting until 2027.

While Alisson is open to the prospect of returning to Italy, he values his commitment to Liverpool and wishes to have further discussions with the club before making any decisions. In 2018, he signed a six-year contract with Liverpool for a transfer fee of £66.8 million (€72.5 million).

In other developments, Liverpool has made a determination about the future of their head coach, Arne Slot. The team currently occupies fifth place in the Premier League with 55 points from 33 matches. Their upcoming fixtures, including challenges against Crystal Palace, Manchester United, Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Brentford, are expected to be crucial for Slot’s tenure.
