Arsenal‘s interest in young talent Endrick is noteworthy, but they are not the only prominent club eyeing his signature. According to Mark Brus at The Daily Briefing, Manchester United is also among the contenders looking to secure the player.
Despite recent challenges, United has shown progress under the management of Michael Carrick and appears poised to finish in the Champions League spots. This competitive edge may intensify the rivalry with Arsenal as both clubs pursue Endrick.
Additionally, following his impressive run in Ligue 1, it is likely that Lyon would seek to retain Endrick on a permanent basis; however, their financial capability to do so remains uncertain.
Potential Role for Endrick at Arsenal
The specific role Endrick could play at Arsenal is still uncertain. The club already features star striker Viktor Gyokeres, though this season has been disappointing for the Swedish international.
Since his arrival from Sporting CP amidst significant expectations, Gyokeres has netted 12 goals in 32 Premier League matches. While these numbers are respectable, they fall short of what is expected from a player of his caliber.
Moreover, Arsenal lacks a reliable backup for Gyokeres. Kai Havertz brings quality but is not a natural forward, often struggling with finishing opportunities.
